Spring Comp is under way
Seven teams started the Spring Competition on Wednesday 14 October. Wednesday nights from 6:45pm, running through to 25 November.

Our Spring Competition got going on Wednesday 14 October, straight after the school holidays. Seven two-player teams are playing a round robin, and it was great to see everyone back into the swing of comp play on the first night.
Each match is two singles each plus one doubles. With an odd number of teams, one team has the bye each week. Every result goes into Ratings Central, so your rating moves with every match you play.
Comp nights use a four-table layout so there is plenty of room for doubles. One table stays free for social play during the comp, and every table opens up once the comp finishes, usually around 8:30pm. So if you are not in a team, Wednesday night is still a good night to come and hit.
Playing in the comp? If you cannot make a week, let the organisers know as early as you can by replying to the club email, so a reserve can be lined up.
